President-Elect—Jet Sletten has scheduled this fun and educational adventure

The first of our AAUW field trips is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12. We will visit the Mountain Artists Guild located at 228 N Alarcon Street. Commonly referred to as MAG, the artists’ guild was established over 75 years ago by local artists Mable Lawrence, Claire Dooner Phillips, George Phippen, and Dr. Florence Yount.

MAG’s mission as a non-profit is dedicated to fostering education and appreciation of the visual arts in Prescott. We will meet at 10:00 am at the MAG to tour the gallery featuring the “Everything Arizona” show, check out the educational space and private studios, and visit with the Wednesday Open Studio painters. This field trip, hopefully, the first of many, will be held on the same day as Lunch Bunch and will be finished in time for anyone who wants to attend both. Reservations are not necessary!
