AAUW Prescott Joins Forces with ERAU’s for Girls Rock-It Day

During the past few years, AAUW-Prescott joined forces with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and offered two sessions of  Girls Rock-It Day, a STEM program directed towards middle and high school-aged girls. Both events were located on the ERAU campus in Prescott.

The day included STEM-related breakout sessions such as Aviation, Engineering, Global Interest, and Physical Sciences. The University drew on its professors who offered hands-on workshops for small groups of girls from the middle and high schools in the quad-city area. 

This was a great opportunity to collaborate with an esteemed institution to introduce and promote STEM fields to young women. We look forward to supporting this event in years to come.
