The Prescott Branch of AAUW was organized in 1949 and today has over 100 members.
Members have the opportunity to participate in a number of community action activities such as voter registration for local college students, participating in the International Women’s Day gathering in Prescott, or assisting with the Reality Store for teenagers.
The branch also offers a growing number of diverse interest groups such as Great Decisions, Book (discussion) Groups, Hiking Group, Photography Group, Bridge Groups, etc. Please refer to both the Calendar Pages and Interest Group Pages as well as the newsletter section for more details.
At our monthly general meetings the branch offers interesting and educational programs on a variety of important topics. These meetings also offer opportunities to meet and socialize with many interesting women. In addition, our branch has endowed the Mary Alice Moulton Childcare Assistance Fund and the AAUW Centennial Scholarship through the Yavapai College Foundation.
